I am a former network TV news anchor and reporter turned 360-degree speaker, storyteller and content strategist, with a unique ability to aggregate, synthesize, strategize and articulate. I also know how to quickly create emotional connections and engagement with content and sales and marketing messages, and can teach others to as well.
I am the author of the 3 Second Selling™ sales training platform that quickly puts you on the path to becoming someone people know, like and trust (that's who we do business with) and deliver that via speeches and seminars. I also speak about structured storytelling, communicating with confidence, leadership through listening, how to make your marketing more relevant and do media training and act as a Master of Ceremonies as well.
The tenets of the platform were developed while I was an entertainment reporter for a nationwide news network. I knew that if I was going to have an authentic, original interview with stars such as Tom Hanks, Julia Roberts, Leonardo DiCaprio, Matt Damon, Mark Wahlberg, Meryl Streep, Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Hopkins, and dozens of others, I would have to be original, show up differently, pique their curiosity, take them off their scripts, and create an emotional connection. I now teach others how to do that as well, whether it be face-to-face, through phone calls, Zoom, voicemails, emails, marketing, sales outreach efforts, etc.
I have traveled the world, raced cars in England, and lived and worked in Europe, Hawaii and Canada as a nightclub entertainer. I was a network TV news anchor and entertainment reporter, as well as a local reporter at CBS and Fox-owned stations. I was the motorsports PR pro for Terry Bradshaw's NASCAR team, and have been an award-winning business magazine editor, media trainer, professional speaker, corporate PR director, communications consultant and PR agency account manager. Some of the brands I have worked with include: GE, Nissan, Pfizer, Symantec, Audi, Mitsubishi, McDonalds, Rolex, Post, Nestlé, General Foods, and Valic.
