Deborah Leben is a former senior leader with over 32 years of public service, starting her dream career as a Fingerprint Specialist with the U.S. Secret Service. She rose to become Director of the Secret Service Crime Laboratory, overseeing forensic operations across 160 field offices and leading strategic initiatives in human resources and global biometric optimization. In 2017, she earned Senior Executive Certification.
Throughout her career, Deborah led national efforts to advance forensic science, optimize technology, and build collaborative partnerships with universities and industry to improve crime-solving capabilities. She also served as a mentor and advocate for innovation, leadership, and workforce development within government.
Now, as Executive Career and Leadership Coach, CEO and Founder of DL Coaching & Career Successes Academy, Deborah empowers professionals to pursue meaningful careers through purpose-driven strategy and personalized coaching. An Associate Certified Coach (ICF) and Certified Executive Coach (CaPP Institute), she helps individuals build confidence, align with their "why," and design careers they love.
Deborah also teaches as Adjunct Faculty at George Mason University and Shepherd University, continuing her mission to help others identify their career goals in public service.
