During my 20 year career in the Army in various leadership positions, I focused on growing and advancing those placed under my care. During my experience as a leader, I noticed the one sure-fire killer (quite literally in this sense) to a team is the lack of communication. No matter whether down, up, or across, lack of communication ensures failure.
Because of this, I facilitate both a Lunch & Learn and an 8-week Mastermind Group, where I bring together likeminded professionals and leaders who are dedicated and motivated to making effective and lasting changes to their careers and lives in a collective group. Being a certified John Maxwell trainer, I use the principles from the book Everyone Communicates, Few Connect by John C. Maxwell as a guide for the group, along with decades of military leadership experience.
