Malcom Glenn
Malcom Glenn is a speaker, writer, founder, and equity advocate. He’s spent his career embedding equity in and building partnerships across institutions, including companies like Google and Uber—as well as nonprofits, governments, and more—and telling the stories of the impact of that work.
Malcom Glenn is the Founder and CEO of MG Equity Consulting (www.mgequityconsulting.com), an advisory firm that helps organizations—from nonprofits to corporations to think tanks—embed equity in everything they do, inside and out. He is a Fellow for the Future of Land and Housing program at New America (www.newamerica.org/our-people/malcom-glenn/) and a Senior Fellow at the Center for Workforce Inclusion (https://www.centerforworkforceinclusion.org/leadership/malcom-glenn/), and serves as an advisor to Meteorite (www.wearemeteorite.com/about#team), where he leads efforts to build awareness for the organization’s two major initiatives, the Health Action Alliance and the Civic Alliance. He’s also a leadership coach for the Hone platform (honehq.com/coaches/malcom-glenn/). He was previously the Head of Global Policy for Accessibility and Underserved Communities at Uber Technologies, where he led Uber’s efforts to make the platform more accessible for historically marginalized groups.
Prior to joining Uber, Malcom was an executive communications manager at Google, where he developed strategic communications for two of Google’s chief financial officers and their leadership teams. Before joining Google, he was the national director of communications at the American Federation for Children, and he previously managed issue campaigns at the polling firm Greenberg Quinlan Rosner. He’s currently a member of the Council on Criminal Justice, an advisory board member of the Chamber of Progress, and a board member for Greater Greater Washington (ggwash.org/about/staff-board), the Consumer Technology Association Foundation (cta.tech/Who-We-Are/CTA-Foundation/Board-of-Trustees), the World Institute on Disability (wid.org/board/), and Communitas America (www.communitasamerica.org/about/people).
Malcom received a bachelor’s degree in history from Harvard College, where he was the president of The Harvard Crimson.
