Jill Andersen
MBA
WI, USLive so you don’t die with a long list of SHOULD haves. F Your SHOULDs and have FUN being a human!
She's the JILL for the job.
Jill Andersen is a speaker and coach whose life was just okay until her SHOULDS hit the fan and everything changed. Equipped with an MBA, a divorce, more than a few job changes, and a helluva lot of perspective....
She’s sharing her experiences and inspiring audiences to:
- Ditch SHOULDs and discover what lights them up
- Look at life backwards to learn how to live it moving forward
Growing up in small town Iowa the second of four daughters, Jill followed all of the rules (only got grounded once!) and excelled at doing life by the book. She earned a B.S. in food science from Iowa State University, chose only internships and jobs in her field, earned an MBA after breaking up with her boyfriend because she had nothing else to do, built a successful career in the food industry over 20 years, got married, got divorced 18 months later and hasn't done life by the book since.
A 'Jill-of-all-trades' she is an adjunct instructor in the College of Business and Public Administration at Drake University, speaker, workshop leader, coach, fear wrangler, shoulding survivor, wife to her silver fox husband, dog mom of Hank McFluffernutter, traveler and lover of food.
Learn to live so you don't die with a long list of SHOULD-haves.

'F' Your SHOULDs
Maybe you're staying in a job or a marriage you know isn't right for you. Maybe you really want to buy an RV and live on the road (but everyone around you thinks you're cuckoo!) Perhaps you are 39 years old, excited to get a tattoo on your wrist and terrified of what your mom will think. (Ahem..ME.)
Those are a few examples of giving up power and choice. We think we should keep doing XYZ thing so we don't rock...
