Combat Disabled Veteran Air Force Senior NCO, Lorenzo Williams worked as a facilitator for the Air Force's 2 and 3-Star General education courses at the Air War College located at Maxwell AFB in Montgomery Alabama. He served as a fire officer for the Department of Defense and the United States Air Force. Achieving the rank and title of Fire Chief, where he led and managed at times up to 62 firefighters at various Air Force bases including, but not limited to Maxwell AFB, Alabama, Riyadh Air Base, Saudi Arabia, Howard AFB, Panama, Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, Hill AFB, Utah, and Maxwell AFB, Alabama.
Lorenzo's current position is at the Department of Labor (OSHA) as an Assistant Area Director at the Area Office located in Tampa, FL. His duties include managing 6 Compliance Safety and Health Officers (CSHOs), conducting informal conferences, auditing inspection case files, assigning work to CSHOs, and enforcing local, regional, and federal emphasis programs. Lorenzo has conducted over a thousand inspections to go along with his 13 years of experience working as a Compliance Safety & Health Officer and an Assistant Area Director. Lorenzo is currently transitioning from his duties as an Assistant Area Director for the Department of Labor (OSHA) to train, coach, and speak full time.
Lorenzo Williams holds a Bachelor's Degree in Fire Science, a Master's Degree in Occupational Safety and Health. Lorenzo is a Maxwell Leadership Certified Team trainer, speaker, and coach. He also has certifications in Interviewing Technics, Building Collapse, Life Safety 101, Electrical Safety, Trenching and Excavating, Cranes and Derricks, Combustible Dust, and Train the Trainer for General Industry and Construction.
When he's not working, Lorenzo Williams likes living the Patio Lifestyle by inviting friends and family to gather for lively barbeques on his patio. He works out daily and also makes time for power naps. Christmas tree picking is a much-loved tradition for his family each year—one he looks forward to each December.
