Amy is a serial entrepreneur - although the path didn't start that way! Originally the dream was vet school having a deep, profound love of animals. After spending several years in a veterinary clinic as a technician it became very clear that was not the path.
My "wasband" had a career with Allstate Insurance and after several moves and veterinary clinic changes, Amy had an opportunity to try something new. Mary Kay Cosmetics was the calling at the time. It was a fantastic journey lasting 10+ years. Amy had 45 consultants all across the country, over 250 customers, earned the use of two career cars, and learned what it took to lead a sales force.
Two children later and another move provided yet another opportunity. Amy felt the need to come back to the horses. Telllington Touch and Centered Riding was the next calling. The horse work was short-lived as single parenthood with a 2 and 5 year old took over!
Another move and life change! Amy on a whim baked horse treats for her clients and quite by "accident" a business was born. Amy spent 25 years involved in the pet food industry. Purchasing, scaling, and selling a pet food delivery business all the way to creating, developing, manufacturing, and distributing her own line of raw, cooked, and dehydrated pet foods.
The calling from the horses returned and the heart opportunity arrived! Ready to pivot and share the love of horses, love of business, and love of people has finally all come together with Whole Heart Ranch. Living a childhood dream on a gorgeous 40 acre property with her Clydesdale horses and critters has provided the inspiration to help others find and live their own heart's desires.
