"I have no sight but I have vision." I lost my sight as a child. However, I strive to prevent my sightless journey from becoming a difficult path or hindrance. I learned as a youth to accept reality and keep on living.
I attended grade school in Texas which is located in the United States. I excelled in advanced classes throughout grade school. After receiving my diploma, I attended Ohio State University located in Columbus Ohio. However, I transferred to Texas Tech University in Lubbock Texas whereby I received a bachelordegree in sociology with a concentration in criminology and a minor in English. Thereafter, I decided to attend Texas Tech University School of Law whereby I earned my Juris-doctorate degree.
Additionally, I completed a federal internship with the Federal Public Defenders Office in Lubbock Texas which provided me with legal experience and confidence. At that point, I felt like I had accomplished one of my ultimate goals.
Later, I began focusing on achieving another goal that was significant to me. I possessed the desire to become an author. I achieved that goal by writing and publishing my debut children's book, Archie the Elephant. My book teaches children the importance of being nice.
Yes, I have achieved many accomplishments; however, I have encountered many obstacles along the way. I continue to overcome such obstacles by being committed to my principles and maintaining faith. Now, my primary goals are: to enrich the universe with positivity; embrace my blessings; and encourage the world to stand in unity.
