A graduate of Hamline University’s College of Liberal Arts and William Mitchell College of Law, and licensed attorney, Sherry practiced civil and family law for 20 years. She completed Hamline University’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Institute, studied conflict resolution at Rothberg International School in Jerusalem and serves on the Minnesota Supreme Court’s Rule 114 Qualified Neutrals List. She also attained certification in Restorative Circles and Restorative Conferencing through the International Institute of Restorative Practices. Sherry teaches conflict resolution and peace building skills to businesses and organizations and continues to serve as a leader within professional law and mediation organizations. Her mediation practice extends from custody and caring for aging parents to bias and discrimination issues and employment termination. She has mediated disputes for the Minnesota Department of Human Rights as well as the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office Community Police Unification Program.
