A member of the NFL Hall Of Fame Class of 2003, James was one of the most prolific wide receivers in the history of the NFL. In his 16 seasons, James played in 233 games, caught 764 passes for 14,004 yards, and 75 touchdowns. During his career he was voted all pro 4 times and played in 8 Pro bowls. After graduating from Stanford as an academic all American, James was a 1st round pick by the Packers where he spent 9 seasons. After moving to the Los Angeles Raiders, Lofton spent 4 seasons with the Bills. Since retirement, he has spent 8 years in the field of broadcasting, working for CNN, NBC and Fox Sports Net covering the NFL and college football. Currently, James is an assistant coach with the Chargers. James lives in San Diego with his wife Beverly and their three children.
