Travis Mills's keynote speech teaches and inspires audiences nationwide to "Never give up. Never quit." no matter the obstacles or circumstances.

On April 10, 2012, United States Army Staff Sergeant TravisMills of the 82nd Airborne was critically injured on his thirdtour of duty in Afghanistan by an IED (improvised explosivedevice). As a result of the blast Travis suffered the loss of botharms and both legs. He is one of only five quadruple amputeesfrom the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.Enduring a grueling rehabilitation program, Travis committedhimself not only to recovery, but to fatherhood and to givingback to the veteran community any way he could.In September 2013, Travis and his wife Kelsey founded theTravis Mills Foundation, a nonprofit organization formed tobenefit and assist post 9/11 veterans who have been injured inactive duty or as a result of their service to our nation. 

Criticalto the foundation’s mission is for the veteran’s family to beincluded, not just the vet. Through the foundation, theveteran and their family receive an all-inclusive, all-expensespaid, barrier-free vacation to Maine where they spend timewith Travis and his family, and participate in adaptiveactivities, bond with other veteran families, and enjoy much-needed rest and relaxation in Maine’s great outdoors.Travis’s story has been featured extensively on local andnational news including The Ellen DeGeneres Show, NBC, CBS,Fox News, The O’Reilly Factor, CNN and countless otheroutlets
