As a national speaker, professor, author, and consultant, she dedicates her life to empowering communities to unlock their full potential in health, wellness, and disease management. As the CEO of Confident NP, Dr. West equips both new and experienced nurse practitioners with the resilience and skills needed to excel in their practice, while also serving as the APP Senior Director of Inpatient Acute Care Services at Tampa General Hospital.
Dr. West is a dedicated leader in healthcare education, serving on the USF College of Nursing Advisory Board and the Leadership Tampa Bay Board, while also holding adjunct faculty positions at both the University of South Florida and the University of Tampa.
