Jane worked in the commercial insurance industry in the Pacific Northwest for over 30 years, with clients ranging from nonprofits to commercial, industrial, contracting, real estate and many others in-between. This caused her to spend a significant amount of time in various workplaces and work with employers on their risk management strategies.
She observed the biggest determinant for the success of a business was its leadership and understanding of its employees.
in 2020, she transitioned to full time facilitating, coaching, training and speaking to help employers provide a better workplace for their employees and to ultimately be more profitable. With more than 50% of the in-coming workforce being people of different generations, nationalities, ethnic backgrounds and genders, it is more important now, than ever, for employers to be welcoming so they can attract and retain the best talent possible.
Jane travels internationally for part of the year and works with people of all social classes in South/Southeast Asia, Central America and Europe, so her insights from other cultures brings a unique lens to her work with employers in the United States.
She enjoys connecting with new people and volunteers with disadvantaged people groups in the US to keep her pulse on various sectors of society.

I had the privilege of having Jane Kammerzelt as a speaker at my Disability Awareness Festival in 2023, and I cannot speak highly enough of her performance. Her research was thorough and insightful, and her presentation was engaging, capturing the attention of the audience from start to finish. Her ability to connect with people was evident, as she even moved some attendees to tears. Jane has a remarkable gift for making others feel valued, heard, and seen.
