In 2009 I became one of the statistics of the great recession and found that in the new economy I was virtually unemployable. I was forced to reinvent myself and, in the process, I met hundreds of people just like me. I was blessed with the opportunity to provide training for many of these people through community organizations, colleges and charities, and it was there I discovered many lacked the basic business and soft skills needed to be successful. It was at that point I vowed to not ever let this happen to another person and my company the Warehouse Training Academy was born. Creating a culture of success with professional, flexible, customized, and real-world learning opportunities. Since then, I have gone on to create numerous credit classes, as well as workforce development, continuing education, apprenticeship, and corporate college programs

This program will provide a strong foundational and functional knowledge of the interpersonal skills required to be strong leaders, to train and develop frontline workers, reduce turnover, attract and retain the right talent, and reduce onboarding costs. We will discuss methods for building trust and rapport, training and empowering workers, and building a culture of success.
Team Building and Development
This program will provide a strong foundational knowledge of building and developing high performance teams. We will discuss the roles and responsibilities of high performing team members, team growth, goal setting, motivating teams, problem solving and conflict resolution and facilitation.
The Business of Supply Chain
This workshop will provide an in-depth discussion on the fundamentals of product and service development, entrepreneurship, and how the supply chain industry functions. We will examine and discuss the supply chain life cycle, the purchasing and business cycles, the key players and their processes and responsibilities. This includes a discussion on inventory management, receiving, purchasing, A/P and A/R, transportation and 3PL's and how they interact with and affect each other.
