Former president of the National Association of Government Communicators and retired Navy Master Chief with 40 years of experience as a communication professional in federal and state government agencies, John Verrico has worked extensively in media, community, and employee relations. Drawing from a vast array of experiences, and lessons learned as a bullied, undersized youth who drew inspiration from watching monster movies -- where he learned that the little guy could win against any foe -- John is now a high-energy, thought-provoking, and humorously nerdy international speaker and leadership coach. His programs are filled with humor, interactivity, and maybe even some magic as he helps people and organizations rediscover their inner motivational fire and to keep their TORCH light burning bright.
He earned a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Norwich University and a Bachelor's in communication from the University of the State of New York.
John's spare time is devoted to occasional cruise vacations, bad-movie parties, and collecting classic movie monster memorabilia, which he displays in his bizarre version of a man cave.
