ABOUT WASHINGTON M. GWENZI

Washington Gwenzi is an award-winning speaker who is passionate about adding value to leaders. He has been doing Public Speaking for almost 15 years and teaches out of his own experiences, insights, and lessons learnt. In the 15 years that he has been doing Public Speaking, Washington has spoken and coached people from a wide range of backgrounds in the UK and abroad. Some of his audiences have included, UK Civil Service employees, Adobe, Johnson Matthey plc, Active Horizons (a charity) and church leaders.

Since the day he heard his Mentor and leadership expert John Maxwell say, "everything rises and falls on leadership," Washington has been on a mission to inspire and challenge leaders to serve their people.

Having spent several years as a leader in business and the non-profit sector, Washington has witnessed first-hand the importance and impact that leadership has on people and organisations. His experiences have given him the desire and motivation to inspire audiences to re-evaluate their leadership styles and embrace Servant Leadership.

Washington is a dynamic and entertaining speaker with the unique ability to leave audiences inspired as well as challenged. His keynotes and training will touch the hearts of audiences through powerful stories and illustrations as well as the minds through thought provoking ideas and concepts.

As a certified Coach, Washington uses his excellent people skills to read and connect with audiences to make sure that his message is not only heard but is understood. As he says in his own words, "it's important that everyone in the audience takes something away from my talks."

Whether he is leading and facilitating a workshop or giving a keynote, Washington operates on the philosophy of ENCOURAGING, EMPOWERING and EQUIPPING audiences to raise their personal and leadership growth and development.

Washington is a member of Toastmasters International, a world-wide organisation dedicated to equipping people with Public Speaking and Leadership skills. In addition to winning Speaking Awards in Toastmasters, Washington has also held various posts including being a Club President and currently serves as an Area Director with oversight of 4 clubs with 85 members.

Washington is an Independent certified Coach, Speaker and Trainer, with the internationally recognized John Maxwell Team. This gives him access to the world class Leadership materials that have been designed and taught to some of the top companies in the world by John C. Maxwell.

Washington has a broad and varied working background which includes Banking, Healthcare, Non-Profit and Entrepreneurship. He is the Chief Executive Officer of Dynamic Training Services Ltd, which he founded to fulfil his ambition to add value to people in their personal, professional and leadership development.

Born in Zimbabwe, Washington is currently based in London where he lives with his family. In addition to running a Speaking, Coaching and Training Business, Washington is also on the Leadership Team of a Non-Profit based in London.
