I have known Stan for many years. He has an impressive history of labor as a public servant and has dealt masterfully with teens and adults in all kinds of troubling situations. Stan Lewis is a man who coached and led me during some of the most formative years of my life. Two decades after the fact, I can still remember the positive influence this man had on my character, whether it was on Royal Ranger camping trips or mentoring me about my future profession in the military. Stan, or 'Commander Stan' as we called him, was a calm, compassionate, and strong leader who functioned as a second father to myself and many of my friends.
