Mr. Kanston is passionate about leadership and economic development. He studied at Johnson and Wales University, completing three concurrent degrees in business and education. But he is more than a well-educated and engaging speaker. Mr. Kanston is an advocate for underrepresented businesses, using his background to empower teams and their leaders to achieve more than they ever believed possible.
In addition to teaching and consulting work in his own business, Mr. Kanston is a lead faculty member for the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small business program and a Business Counselor at Wake Tech Community College. He is also an army veteran and a former instructor for CVS Health Executive Learning Series for Diverse Suppliers.
