Melissa Myers
Melissa Myers was born and raised in Orlando, Florida, and is a consultative professional with twenty-plus years in human resources (HR). Being a consummate HR professional and having a passion for her community motivated her to start a professional staffing firm. She is the founder and CEO of Just Write, Inc (JWI), a Minority/Women-owned Business Enterprises (M/WBE) that provides staffing services throughout the Central Florida area.
Melissa excels at developing core and specialized HR processes, procedures, and career development with an eye for assessing and coaching talented and exceptional contractors inclusive of our country's veterans and felons as they re-enter society. Specialized HR processes and procedures consist of evaluating, testing, recruiting and preparing (on-boarding) temporary, part-time, full-time, or contracted employees for work. Career development programs bring education and guidance to individuals looking to get employment or seek a career change. This education consists of one-on-one career counseling sessions that provide a personal success plan where the client can obtain employment, earn the diploma or degree they have been seeking, and become a more robust user in various computer programs.
Melissa is a published author of a success journal, "Making Success a Reality," which provides a step-by-step guide on "Creating Success."
Melissa is highly community-oriented and prides herself on giving back to the community by providing various resources to members of our community, such as managing a weekly food drive in Ocoee, Florida, and promoting social awareness on the importance of voting.
As families struggle to survive difficult times with our increasing and shifting unemployment - it contributes to a surge of homelessness, domestic violence, and crime.
What individuals desire the most is to have a great career ("...not just a job!") so that they can provide for their families as well as themselves. Melissa brings hope to individuals who thought they did not have a way out. Having an organization that assists individuals in helping them increase their financial position ultimately brings economic growth to the city. She believes in Strength and Unity based on her mantra of "We are better together!"
