LaWanna Wilson

LaWanna R. Wilson is an author, speaker, mentor of millennials and Gen Z. Her book V.I.R.G.I.N. was born from a desire to start a conversation that she felt was rarely happening between her generation and the next regarding their worth, embracing their uniqueness and discovering purpose. She interacts with them via social media, virtual events, workshops & panel discussions. In February 2021 LaWanna launched her inaugural virtual singles event Lifestylescon which provided encouragement and support to singles as far as Germany and Nigeria as they navigate their lives within the pandemic. LaWanna also has a heart for international outreach. She has served as a full time missionary and her travels have taken her to Jamaica, South Africa & Namibia. She is an advocate for abstinence and strengths-based approach to learning and leadership.

With an extensive career history in client relations and account management LaWanna knows how to identify the root of an issue and conduct exhaustive research to determine the best resolution. These corporate roles have groomed her into an exceptional problem solver and planner who is not afraid to take the unorthodox route or calculated risk to ensure client satisfaction. A native of Michigan LaWanna currently resides in the greater Nashville, TN area where she also received her undergraduate degree in Speech and Dramatic Arts with an emphasis in Broadcast at Fisk University. She has been active in performing arts, evangelism and Bible teaching for the past 12 years at her local church.
