This profound journey is not for everyone. Walking a spiritual path requires commitment and the courage to shed many illusions that keep separateness in place.
Sherry's expertise with spiritual prayer draws on her long relationship (including apprenticeships and initiations) with teachers and elders in three indigenous traditions: Huichol, Náhua, and Ojibwa. Her understanding of a core universe design that "Love Is Round" was also fostered from studies of ancient Chinese principles of Yin and Yang and The Five Elements. For thousands of years, indigenous peoples have maintained spiritual relationships with aspects of our living world. Sherry's learning has included countless hours absorbing the teachings and ceremonies that give life to these sacred traditions.
In 1982, following a successful business career, Sherry experienced a spiritual call. This call spurred her on a path of intensive personal examination, spiritual growth, and deep healing.
Following a vision quest in 1997, Sherry received messages to teach people about prayer. She apprenticed with three indigenous elders and began teaching experiential spiritual prayer in 2000.
Sherry has more than 30 years of teaching experience (over 21 of them teaching spiritual prayer) drawing on ancient sacred tradition principles and practices.
2013 to present – Member and executive positions in two Toastmasters clubs in Victoria, BC, with extensive speech development and delivery.
In 2015, the words "Love Is Round" arrived in Sherry's prayer time, revealing:
• A core design of our universe and therefore ourselves as well
• An explanation for the experience of connection with spirit, and
• A context for our healing.
