#1. The Secrets of Collaboration Learning Framework

While participants are having fun learning magic tricks they are also experiencing the Secrets of Collaboration.These are the guidelines high performance teams follow to effectively work together and produce exceptional results.  The Secrets of Collaboration Checklist serves as the core-learning framework for the Magic of Collaboration team building workshop.

 

#2. Learn, Apply & Execute Experiential Format

Participants working in teams collaborate to learn magic tricks and perform a magic show.

This format requires participants to:

  • Learn new information - the trick instructions
  • Apply their knowledge to create a presentation (narrative) for their trick.
  • Execute to produce a result. Perform their trick in a formal 'Magic Show' to inform, motivate and entertain their peers.

Segment 1 -LEARN

Learning the trick mechanics - how the trick works

These tasks foster and develop the following skills:

  • Collaboration
  • Communication (speaking and listening)
  • Creative and innovative thinking
  • Creative problem solving
  • Time management

Segment 2 - APPLY

Create the presentation - tell your story

These tasks foster and develop the following skills:

  • Collaboration
  • Communication (speaking and listening)
  • Creative problem solving
  • Creative thinking and writing
  • Humor development
  • Time management

 

Segment 3 - PERFORMANCE/EXECUTE

Live performance is result driven, the goal being to entertain the audience. The audience provides real time, genuine feedback letting the performer know if they achieved the desired result.

These tasks foster and develop the following skills:

  • Collaboration
  • Presentation
  • Communication
  • Emotional Intelligence

#3. The FUN Factor

Participants have FUN discovering and experiencing the Secrets of Collaboration.

This program is:

  • Novel, unique, engaging and exciting
  • Inclusive, gender neutral and NOT physically challenging
  • An amazing combination of fun, laughter and learning
