Working for Marriott International for over 30 years I have experience working in Sales, Event Planning, Training and Technology. This includes virtual and in-person facilitation and presenting. I led a remote team and major projects from home, hotel room or satellite office space for 23 years through 2020.
As a Certified Personal Trainer and Health Coach for over 20 years I was naturally attracted to Marriott's Corporate Wellness program, Take Care, and became one of the original Wellness Champions. I also served in 2019-2020 as the TakeCare Executive Chair for a 300-person team which included efforts in Mindfulness, Nutrition, Exercise and Work/Life Integration.
Personally I overcame adolescent/teenage weight challenges and back surgery to maintain a fit and healthy mind and body.
With these experiences, I use my passion to share the insights I have gained and carefully craft realistic and relatable presentations.
From strategies for recovery breaks, food as fuel, flexing our mind muscles to the importance of posture, I will share many concept and tangible actions that can immediately help you and your employees - and these concepts can be carried through to working in an office setting. I will get your team up and moving, breathing, stretching, and making small but mighty changes to keep them healthy, energized and productive – both at work and in life.
