MEXICOAlejandra Paczka is the Human Resources Transformation Lead at Walmart Mexico and Central America with a scope of +240,000 associates. She studied International Relations at UNAM (National University of Mexico) and has post grade studies in International Politics from Brock University in Canada. She did a diplomate in Labor Relations at UNAM.
She started her professional career at the Secretary of Labor as Analyst of International Labor Laws and Federal Labor Law where she learned about unions and strikes; she then moved to Seguros Monterrey that was acquired by BBVA Bancomer, as Labor Relations Senior Manager where she was responsible to elaborate the Contract Bargaining Agreement for the new privately 2nd largest bank (40K employees). Some years later Alejandra worked at Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Manager defining business strategies, enterprise resources planning solutions (ERPs due to Y2K) and launched the Change Management practice that later evolved to become the Human Capital practice; she led the WIN (Women in Network) initiative and was responsible for several projects in Mexico, United States and Central America.
With all the vast experience she gained with customers, she challenged herself and moved to Microsoft as Senior Director in Business Operations and CPE where she was responsible for leading, creating, and orchestrating processes to accelerate the business as well as leading the strategy of the customer and partner satisfaction.
In 2008 she joined PepsiCo as Latam Senior Director of Human Resources and Facilities Management for the Global Functions where she was responsible to define the org design and change management of the joint venture of the two food companies. After 9 years, Alejandra was invited to come back to Microsoft as Head of Human Resources to accelerate Microsoft's transformation model where she was for 2 years.
Now at Walmart, Alejandra is implementing at full her +22-years' experience in consulting, agile, digital transformation, customer loyalty, solutions implementation, change management, Human Resources and Facilities Management.
She's a certified coach by the Challenger Insight Selling Institute.
Alejandra is an active social seller and an employee obsessed HR professional.
She has been speaker in several events, conferences and seminars about different topics around Human Resources, the empowerment of the women in the modern workplace, generations, flexible flexibility, among others.
Alejandra is originally from Mexico City and she has also lived in Canada, United States, and Singapore.
