Taniya Nayak is one of the nation's foremost interior designers. She became a household name as a design expert member on HGTV and Food Network. Taniya owns a successful, Boston-based interior design firm, Taniya Nayak Design, Inc. where she adds a fresh, clean look to both commercial and residential spaces.

Taniya has served as host and designer for a variety of HGTV mainstays like Designed to Sell, Billion Dollar Block, House Hunters on Vacation and Urban Oasis in Boston. Taniya is a featured designer on Robert Irvine's Food Network series, Restaurant: Impossible, where she utilized her design prowess and professional experience to rescue and transform suffering restaurants. Married to Brian O'Donnell, a successful restaurateur in Boston, Taniya's personal life as both an interior designer and a restaurant industry insider is the perfect parallel to her multifaceted design role in the television realm. With knockout shows on both the Food Network and HGTV, Taniya quickly became a respected and prominent figure in television's interior design world. Taniya was selected personally by Ellen Degeneres as a brand spokesperson for her home product line, "ED On Air," featured on QVC in 2015. In 2005, Taniya started her own design firm, Taniya Nayak Design, Inc. Having designed for a wide range of spaces and budgets, she focuses on creating inspired commercial and residential spaces with both broad appeal and personal connection. Taniya's design firm has developed an impressive range of clientele from restaurants to condo developments to high-end residential. Some of TND's designs are seen in new construction development Treadmark Condominiums, restaurants including Yellow Door Taqueria, Door No. 7, Abby Lane, The Poynt, Tavern & Table, Bostonia Public House, several new Ruth's Chris Steakhouse locations, and the new construction homes of legendary athletes, Bruin's Patrice Bergeron and Cam Neeley.
Born in India and raised in Boston, Taniya's design style is strongly influenced by her creative family, especially her father, a talented architect who just received his Fellowship from AIA in 2017. Shortly after attending Boston Architectural College for her master's in Interior Architecture, Taniya's design style and upbeat personality landed her first television gig on ABC Family's Knock First. Taniya was one of four designers and co-hosts of the hit show, geared toward hip, ambitious teens. She then made the move to HGTV as a designer on Designed to Sell, where she helped homeowners add value and prepare their homes for market.
Taniya's helpful decorating tips have been featured in Architectural Digest India, HGTV Magazine, Design New England, People, Cosmopolitan, Glamour, The Boston Globe, Family Circle, The Washington Post, Ladies Home Journal, Redbook, Better Homes & Gardens, and many more.
