Jerri George
Jerri George, a native Floridian, began her career as a caterer nearly 30 years ago. Relocating her family of two young boys and her business to Denver in 2005, she came to enjoy orchestrating high end events and extravagant weddings until November 2009.
Jerri's life was sidelined when she contracted Bacterial Meningitis. After a month long coma, she survived, but woke deaf with amputated toes and physical side effects.
While recovering in rehab she turned to a college passion - writing. Her first book, CATERSAVVY "Secrets of the Trade Revealed" became a CIPA award winner and best seller. Written to help others succeed she believed in the adage "those who can't, teach".Her second book, Murder on the Menu was a lark at first, with a catering diva as the heroine but attracted critical praise and five stars on Amazon!
Following catering business closures during Covid19, Jerri became committed to sharing her "rising from the ashes' mentality helping others recover from adversity.
