She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership from UNC Charlotte, and an EdS in Organizational Leadership with an emphasis on Finances from Nova Southeastern University. Demmons is an active member of Personal Finance Speakers Association (PFSA), the Professional Speakers Association (PSA), Atlanta Black Chambers (ABC) and a licensed resident agent.
