As the head of the digital design agency's Atlanta office, Marcela shoulders leadership roles across client engagement, strategy, and people operations. It's the last department that has witnessed radical transformation since she stepped into her post in 2018 – the same time when the #MeToo movement peaked. YML's Atlanta outpost proudly employs a mighty team of equal parts of men and women today.
Marcela is also the President of the Board for Together Digital's Atlanta Chapter, an association dedicated to accelerating the advancement and growth of women in the digital fields. Together Digital is where Marcela continues her efforts on gender equality, women empowerment, and inclusion at the community level.
As a strategic customer experience executive and trusted advisor to Fortune 500 clients such as Lowe's Home Improvement, Delta Air Lines, The Coca-Cola Company, State Farm, and Fresenius Medical Care, Marcela delivers a range of transformational Customer experience solutions in the digital field enabling these brands to increase their customers' share-of-wallet, retention, loyalty, and advocacy as well as creating operational efficiencies. Marcela approaches every relationship, opportunity, and challenge with thought and purpose, empowering the team members around her and inspiring her clients to continue to innovate and lead.
Marcela strongly advocates for an inclusive environment, especially for women in technology. She speaks at events, writing articles, and mentor not only women but men on how to create an environment where all can become their best selves.
Marcela successfully balances work and life commitments and lead as an example to the rest of her YML Atlanta team. Marcela attends Buckhead Church and enjoys participating in community initiatives.
