Melissa is a pioneer of a leader. Upon our first meeting, my choice to come onboard the Toolbox was more so because of her, her vision for humanity, and her prowess and determination to drive us in that direction, than anything else. Growing a startup is an extremely tough job, and there's no one I can think of who I'd rather be in the trenches of such work with. Beyond that, her leadership was crucial in pivoting the platform from a project initiative into a social enterprise, forging crucial partnerships with likes of Qualcomm and the PVBLIC foundation.

Melissa was recommended to me as someone who would be a dynamic host for The Lean Startup Summit in London. I was delighted when Melissa agreed to host the event at East Wintergarden,Canary Wharf. This was the first official Lean Startup event in Europe with 600 registered attendees so it was critical that as we built a platform for Lean Startup events in Europe that the atmosphere was dynamics and professional. Melissa brought professionalism, adaptability and grace under pressure during the event which saw over 30 world class speakers involved over 9 hours. I can wholeheartedly endorse Melissa as a fantastic person to work within addition to being an accomplished compere, host and moderator well versed in all aspects of business.
