I'm a founder of several software companies, including most recently, Involver, an enterprise social media platform, which was acquired by Oracle and is now part of the Oracle Marketing Cloud. Post sale, I spent nearly three years as the senior director working with the global field, inside sales and product development organizations.
Previously, I founded a cloud productivity apps platform, which I took public on the OTCBB, and a web hosting company while in high school. Its sale (for $1.5m!) was negotiated while writing my senior year exams. Because of life circumstances, I didn't end up going to a four-year college, or receiving my bachelors.
A few years back, I received an Empact 100 Award at the White House from Startup America and The Kauffman Foundation. I was also named one of the Top 30 Entrepreneurs Under 30 in America by Inc. Magazine, one of the Top 40 Under 40 by the San Francisco Business Times, and one of the Top 25 Digital Thought-Leaders by iMedia.
I love helping and learning from people who are charting their own course. I'm an investor or advisor to a number of start-ups, early-stage venture funds, and non-profit organizations. I've also been invited to speak at several cool places around the world like SXSW, President Obama's Global Entrepreneurship Summit in Dubai, MIT's $100K Business Plan Competition, Imperial Bank in Kenya and Startup Weekend in Egypt.

Rahim and I had the unique experience of founding and building a company together. Rahim's drive and accumen were what enabled us to make the leap into starting the company, and his tenacity was much of its reason for success. Rahim was able to find world-class talent, bring them into the organization and motivate them through good times and bad. He effectively drove fundraising efforts and managed the company through the complexities of of the first days in a cafe through the acquisition by Oracle. I have been in the trenches with Rahim, and he is the kind of person you want to be in them with you.

Rahim is a top-notch entrepreneur with endless energy and drive. He never takes himself too seriously and always maintains a sense of humor even through challenging times. What's particularly striking about Rahim is his listening skills -- I know few people who are as good at listening, clarifying, and then offering a thoughtful response.

Rahim is incredibly effective as a business person. Not only did he define most of the key marketing strategies for the company, he also was responsible for closing many of our partner and customer deals. I would recommend Rahim to anyone.
