I am a native of Savannah, GA. I graduated from Savannah State University and pursued graduate degrees at the University of Florida and National Baptist Theological Seminary.
I am married to my wife Cynthia of 20 years. We have four grown children and four grandchildren. I am a former business owner, corporate executive and an ordained minister of twenty five years.
My passion for public speaking has been longstanding, as he has lent his voice to eager ears for over twenty-five years. In 2015, I formed a motivational speaking business called "Raisin' the Rufe Communications". My empowering presentations are always intended to energize the listener toward embracing change, personal appreciation and active accomplishment. I have also created interactive breakouts for my clients. Currently my signature breakouts are "Embracing Change" and "Defeating Procrastination". I also designed customized keynotes and breakout to meet my clients' specific needs.
