I have a first degree in Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and a Master's degree in Mass Communication. This means that I have extensive knowledge of Print Journalism, Broadcasting, Advertising, and Public Relations. In addition, my career has spanned all of those areas as I have had stints in Newspaper and Magazine Journalism, Broadcasting and Film, Advertising and Public Relations.With my knowledge of Journalism and Public Relations, it means that I can effectively plan well-structured Communication campaigns that can effectively deliver on set objectives.
Also with the knowledge and skills derived from Journalism and Public Relations profession it means that I can effectively deploy such tools like Press Releases, Features Stories, Editorials, Press Conferences as part of a planned and sustained Public Relations campaign designed to meet specific objectives.In addition, I have extensive knowledge and understanding of Marketing and Advertising derived from my years as an Advertising practitioner during which I helped to develop appropriate strategy for many successful Advertising campaigns.
Furthermore, in the course of my career I have actively been involved in various aspects of brand management and development. I have been actively involved in consumer insights generation; brand strategy development; Market development strategy; brand essence development; Brand promotion; Market segmentation; Product development; Product management and Promotions
In addition, I have had extensive experience as part of team that has helped developed Marketing strategy and manage such multinational brands in Nigeria like Cadbury, MTN, Microsoft, Dunlop/Goodyear tyres and Guinness. I believe that with my knowledge and experience I will make a positive and lasting impact on your brand.
Currently I am pursuing a doctorate degree in Marketing at the North Central University in Prescott Valley, Arizona, USA.This program is helping to deepen my insights and expertise in Marketing Management and Marketing principles.
