Jorge Valdes

Ph.D.

FL, US
Dr. Valdes has inspired audiences by detailing how he developed a Narco Mindset that helped him create a billion-dollar drug empire, overcome tortures, get a Ph.D and build a million-dollar business.

As a young man in his twenties with an insatiable thirst for money and power, Jorge Valdes was a founding member of a group that became known as Colombia's Medellin drug cartel at the age of twenty-one, making over a million dollars a month. His key position as head of all U.S. operations brought him into direct contact with presidents, generals, Hollywood celebrities, and hired killers. This Cuban immigrant, raised in poverty, was living the high life in more ways than one. His deeds took him from the lap of luxury to the depths of prison and back again. Then an incredible thing happened: Jorge Valdes encountered a person much more powerful than the strongest drug lord, someone who offered something more satisfying than women, drugs, money, prestige, or power.

Told he would never be anything but a twice-convicted drug dealer, Dr. Jorge Valdes, who holds a Master's degree from Wheaton College and A Ph.D. in New Testament Studies, Early Christianity and Ethics from the Loyola University of Chicago is a renowned national and international speaker who brings a message of hope, forgiveness, and the power to change.

His new Narco Mindset Podcast and YouTube Channel contain RAW storytelling and intellectually honest talk about life challenges, miracles, recovery, and opportunities.  It illuminates a new generation on the power and the impact of a positive mindset, a Narco Mindset. He uses his Blog to share his insight on what he has learned from not only his hardships but his triumphs in academia and business.

Dr. Valdes has published several books in English and Spanish, and his book Cerebro Narco and Cuentas Claras were best sellers.

Dr. Valdes has been featured in numerous magazine cover stories and has appeared in many national and international radio and television programs. Including Cocaine Cowboys, Kings of Miami, a docuseries featured on Netflix.  Dr. Valdes has addressed the U.S. House of Representatives, the Flagg Officers at the U.S. Pentagon, and delivered a keynote address with Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher as well as the Memorial for Columbine. Dr. Valdes has raised millions of dollars as a keynote speaker for causes dear to his heart.
