Shola Safo-Duodu has invaluable experience in strategic communications, marketing, brand, retail, and events management and has established credibility as an experienced and versatile management professional through the various business and support roles she has held in her career of more than 25 years in the financial services (Barclays Bank Ghana) and fast-moving consumer goods (fmcg) industries (Unilever Ghana).
Shola is currently the Project Director of the Regional Leadership Centre (RLC) of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI), responsible for leadership training of young people from nine West African countries. The project specializes in equipping young people in the three sectors of business entrepreneurship, public policy management, and leadership and civil society leadership. Before joining YALI, Shola was a leadership and management Consultant with Leaders & Mentors International, which seeks to bridge the yawning leadership gap in society.
