Director of the Mind/Body Center for Women's Health in Boston and author of "Self-Nurture"
A graduate of Concord Academy and Colby College, Dr. Alice Domar received her M.A. and Ph.D. in Health Psychology from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Ferkauf School of Professional Psychology of Yeshiva University in 1986. She did her post-doctoral training in Boston at Beth Israel Hospital, Deaconess Hospital, and Children's Hospital. Domar is currently the Director of the Mind/Body Center for Women's Health at Boston IVF, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Additionally, she is an assistant professor of medicine at Harvard Medical School, a senior scientist at the Mind/Body Medical Institute, and is a member of the Executive Committee of the Mental Health Professional Group of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine. An accomplished author, Domar's books include "Healing Mind, Healthy Woman" and the national bestseller "Self-Nurture." She also co-authored "Six Steps to Increased Fertility." Her upcoming release is titled "Conquering Infertility." A columnist for "Health" magazine, Domar is also a member of the advisory board for "Parents" magazine and is on the Board of Experts of Lluminari. She has appeared on the "Today" show, "Good Morning America," "CBS This Morning," "Dateline NBC," "CBS Evening News," CNN, and "NBC Evening News."
