Embracing her second chance at life, Amy launched a campaign of self-improvement and empowerment. She went from a 355-pound couch potato to completing a Full Ironman Triathlon. From flunking out of math class to earning her master’s degree in Business Administration. From a teller to CEO of the same
credit union nearly destroyed in the bombing.

Amy is now a full time speaker and author of Hope is a Verb, which is available on Amazon. Most recently, Amy was featured in two documentaries produced by National Geographic and Netflix.
