
Duncan Keith
Duncan Keith is a NHL defenseman and alternate captain who has played for the Chicago Blackhawks since 2005. He is a three-time Stanley Cup champion (2010, 2013 & 2015). In the 2015 Finals, he scored what would be the game-winning goal in the second period against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Keith was named by NHL.com in 2017 as one of the "100 Greatest NHL Players" of all time.
Keith was born on July 16, 1983 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He attended Michigan State University and was selected after his freshman year by the Blackhawks in the 2nd round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft. He continuing playing for the Spartans for the first 15 games of his sophomore season before leaving to play for the Western Hockey League's Kelowna Rockets. He subsequently spent two seasons playing for the American Hockey League's Norfolk Admirals before joining the Blackhawks in 2005. Keith has also played internationally for Team Canada in the Olympics, winning two gold medals in 2010 in Vancouver & 2014 in Sochi.
