Madoca is an internationally acclaimed composer/ Jazz pianist. Madoca based on Trio, Quartet and larger ensemble. She has a unique jazz group "Madoca & Friends" they will bring quality jazz music & fun for all occasions and concerts/ festivals. Madoca & Friends has shared the stage with Chris Botti, Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliott & more. Madoca headlined the 32nd Atlanta Jazz Festival.
Recently, Madoca Kawahara has chosen as one of the premiere inaugural artists selected to lead cultural exchange in Atlanta for Atlanta Jazz: INTERNATIONAL Sounds Series (Japan) presented by America's Songbird of the South Myrna Clayton and CedarTree Worldwide Productions in June 2019. Madoca has headlined as one of the artists by I Am Free Music Festival's "Just Jazzin Event" in 2019. Madoca headlined "Jazz It Up Concert Series" by The Jazz 91.9 WCLK's at St. James Live, Atlanta GA in September 2018. She has also headlined at Jazz Matters Concert, "Celebrating Women in Jazz" at the Wrens Nest, Atlanta GA in August 2018. She also performed her latest album, "Illusion Of Love" listening party at Velvet note in Alpharetta GA in 2018. Madoca opened for Joe Sample (RIP), Herbie Hancock, and the Ramsey Lewis Tribute Concerts. She has also opened for Chris Botti, Rick Braun, Jonathan Butler, Richard Elliott, India Arie, Jean Carne, and Pamela Williams, to name a select few.
