Dawn Staley
Dawn Staley is the current women's head basketball coach at the University of South Carolina. In 2017, she led the Gamecocks to its first-ever NCAA Women's Basketball National Championship. As a player, Staley was a three-time Olympic gold medalist and a six-time WNBA All-Star who played in the league from 1996 - 2006, primarily for the Charlotte Sting.
In 2011, she was voted as one of the Top 15 players in WNBA history. She played collegiately at the University of Virginia and was a two-time ACC Player of the Year and two-time Naismith College Player Of The Year. She was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013.
