Dr. Hill Krishnan was born in a small village in south India, into the "Most Backward Caste" known for crime, poverty and illiteracy. He later went on to become an engineer, ergonomist, political scientist, professor, entrepreneur, candidate for public office, actor, and keynote speaker. His recent audiences include World Economic Forum, LinkedIn, Fordham University Dean's List Ceremony, Yeshiva University Sternx, California Polytechnic State University's Water Crisis Event, Catholic Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and Tedx CalPoly.

For nearly a decade, he has been working as an educator, teaching students from 8th grade to graduate school. In his work with under-served high school students, Dr. Krishnan has taught a variety of courses ranging from chemistry, anatomy and physiology, to calculus and political science. At the college and graduate levels, he has designed and taught nearly two dozen political science and international relations courses.

Dr. Krishnan is a voracious reader. For the past 10 years, he has read thousands of non-fiction books on various topics, and sets a goal of 300 books every year. He is also the author of a memoir and other international affairs e-books. In 2018 Dr. Krishnan was one of the top 20 speakers at the World Championship of Public Speaking (Toastmasters) out of 35,000 competitors from 100+ countries.

Dr. Krishnan brings a unique background. In addition to personal cross-cultural experience as an immigrant from India, he is a professor of International Affairs, teaching diverse NYC students. His speeches focus on how to create a continuous learning culture in corporate America. A learning culture increases innovation, employees' happiness, retention, productivity, etc.

He is also an actor who has performed in Bollywood movies, a sitcom, stage productions, and American TV commercials.He is a regular practitioner of Transcendental Meditation.
