TX, US
Author of A Woman's Guide to Surviving Divorce, Jefferys offers a refreshing and down to earth take on Divorce.

Allison Jeffereys is no different than any other woman who was raised to believe marriage was a lifetime commitment. She is certainly no different than any woman who found out that no matter how strong your intentions, being married to the wrong person cannot last a lifetime. In the aftermath of her second failed marriage, she began writing what was intended to be nothing more than a personal exploration and validation of her experience with Divorce.  As she wrote and talked about her work it became clear that there was a need for a book that validates the emotions and grieving process experienced when a woman is faced with the loss of her marriage.

After earning a degree in Psychology, Allison worked in the Financial Services industry speaking to audiences on behalf of multiple Fortune 100 companies.  As a frequent business traveler, she quickly learned that other women were eager to share their own stories about Divorce.  Allison met and spoke with hundreds of women who shared not only their stories, but the wisdom they gained from their mistakes.   What ensued was the composite story of a fictional woman, experiencing Separation, Divorce, and the rebuilding process that follows.
