After the success of the song, he linked up with KJ Balla for "Drip Sauce" which released in May 2018. The same year, he dropped other singles like "Real", "Well Explained" and "Steppin Out."
In 2019, Gwuapo dropped a track called "Lifestyle" where he talks about his coming up as a rapper. After the song managed to reach a larger audience, the rapper dropped a music video which substantially boosted the views. His solo track "One Chance" premiered on Valentine's Day 2019.
