Over the years she has held board positions, including Regional VP of the Canadian Society of Safety Engineering, President of Safety & Health Week (NAOSH), and the President of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (BC chapter). She recently received her Certified Speaking Professional designation which there are only 700 in the world, as well as “Top Women in Safety” award and Top Safety Trainer 2024, through the Canadian Occupational Safety magazine.Tanya Steele is a former EMR turned entrepreneur. She is now Podcast Host, MC, Safety Trainer & Consultant. Utilizing her 28yrs of experience she speaks to business owners, supervisors and managers on how to train their workers.
