Selena Rezvani is a recognized consultant, speaker and author on women and leadership. A seasoned human capital consultant, Selena uses workplace culture assessments to help corporate clients be more inclusive and welcoming to women. She is also a noted researcher, having developed groundbreaking studies related to women in the c-suite, millennials, managers, and gender and negotiation, which have been covered by international media.
Selena is the author of two leadership books targeted at professional women. Her latest book, Pushback: How Smart Women Ask—and Stand Up—for What They Want (Jossey-Bass, 2012), focuses on the unmatched power of negotiation skills in women's career advancement and was recognized with an Axiom Business Book Award. Her first book, The Next Generation of Women Leaders (Praeger, 2009), profiled 30 "c-level" women and was named by The Huffington Post as one of the top 2 inspiring books for women leaders. Selena's timely and provocative TEDx talk, 'Interrupting Gender Bias Through Meeting Culture," was recognized in 2019 with a Croly Journalism award for its coverage and reporting on women. This Fall, Selena will launch two online courses specific to women through LinkedIn Learning.
Selena holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University and an MSW from NYU. She lives in the Philadelphia suburbs with her husband Geoff and her six year old boy/girl twins.
