
Luc de Brabandere
Luc de Brabandere is a corporate philosopher. Fellow of the Boston Consulting Group, he co-founded Cartoonbase, a communication agency where artists and consultants work together.
Since his first book les infoducs published in 1985, Luc de Brabandere developed a philosophic approach of management and technologies. He is often collaborating with large corporations or organizations to assist EXCO meetings or management teams to clarify their vision, their mission or their expectations.
He is the author or co-author of 14 other books. His last publication in French is Homo informatix (Editions du Pommier), in which he approaches the evolution of man in a digital environment. His next book Connecté à quoi? takes this reflexion further (Editions Belles Lettres – publication March 2019)
His work experience includes:
President of the National Geographic institute of Belgium from 1997 to 1999
Managing director of the Brussels Stock Exchange from 1990 to 1991
Responsible for the information systems at la Générale de Banque (today BNP Paribas Fortis) until 1989
Luc de Brabandere graduated in applied mathematics (1971) and in Philosophy (2003) at the Université Catholique de Louvai (UCL) in Belgium. He teaches in several universities.
