Melodie is the founder of Marketing Melodie, a company dedicated to helping businesses authentically build their brand and become expert resources using social media.

Melodie brings over 15 years of marketing expertise to her current role as a Social Media Marketing Consultant and Speaker that began during her time at iHeart Media, followed by working for several digital agencies. In 2008, she began using social media for her own professional growth and launched MarketingMelodie.com which was then a blog to share things she was learning about in social media. Then she was inspired to focus on helping companies who value building community through organic growth. In 2009, she committed to running her social media marketing company full time and hasn't looked back.

Since launching her business she has helped over 100 professionals with one on one Social Media Consulting. She has worked with both small business owners and large corporations including:

Melodie lives in sunny San Diego with her husband Rodney and baby daughter Cayley. She loves teaching and practicing yoga. She also loves cooking, enjoys live performances and is passionate about both traveling and discovering new things to do in her home town.
