Unlock the Power of Nonverbal Communication: ensure employee safety on or off the clock, enhance generational harmony, and excel in E.I. leadership to provide the best employee experience possible!

Meet Terry, a distinguished TEDx speaker, body language and personal safety expert, author, and a former British Royal Marines Commando. Terry’s expertise in decoding body language traces back to his childhood, growing up under the heel of a violent father prone to spontaneous bouts of violence. It wasn’t until his time in the military, where he attended training on Body Language and Human Behavior, that Terry discovered his natural talent for deciphering nonverbal cues.

After leaving the Commandos, Terry taught a variety of combatives, and at the same time, pursuing his passion for studying body language acquiring various certifications such as The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation, The Reid Technique of Interviewing and Interrogation Advanced, Statement Analysis, Facial Profiling, and Paul Ekman's METT Micro Facial Expressions Training Tool, where he scored expert level during testing.

Today, Terry is highly regarded for his exceptional body language workshops, including D.I.R.T. Dangerous Individual Recognition Training®, Nonverbal Communication Across Generations, and Mastering Body Language for Leaders. The knowledge, experience, and enthusiasm Terry brings to his keynotes and workshops are invaluable and are a must-attend for anyone seeking to improve their understanding of nonverbal communication.

In addition, Vaughan is also a past competitor on season 4 of the History Channel’s TOP SHOT, a former television host for the BBC and GUNTV, and the author of the popular book, NOT WITH MY DAUGHTER! A Dad’s Guide to Screening Dates and Boyfriends.

Fun Fact: Following Terry's time as a host for the BBC television show No Limits BBC, he enrolled in a stage school and worked as an actor, dancer, and occasional (thankfully) singer. Transitioning from dancer to Commando was fraught with hilarious situations and epic challenges, many of which he shares during his highly entertaining keynote, Dancer to Commando: How to Overcome Any Obstacle. This presentation is part inspiration, part motivation, and part cautionary tale. But, above all else, Terry's account of how and why he signed up for one of the toughest military training courses in the world after life as a thespian, has to be heard to be believed and is the perfect way to launch or close any event.
