Dr. Sanjay Jha is Co-Chief Executive Officer of Motorola and Chief Executive Officer of Motorola Mobility. Dr. Jha has brought Dramatic change and success to Motorola's mobile devices business since arriving in 2008. His strategic leadership produced the successful line of smartphones that includes the original DROID, CLIQ, and DROID X among other well-received products. He is leading the integration of Motorola's successful home-oriented businesses of set-top boxes and cable as the consumer experience evolves, that have traditionally separated the home and mobile markets.

Prior to joining Motorola, Dr. Jha served as chief operating officer of Qualcomm Incorporated where he oversaw Corporate Research and Development and Qualcomm Flarion Technologies (QFT). He also served as president of Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT), Qualcomm's chipset and software division.
Dr. Jha holds a doctorate degree in electronic and electrical engineering from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland. He received a bachelor's degree in engineering from the University of Liverpool in England.
