MA, USI am an experienced Supply Chain planning and analytics professional with 10 + years of experience in end to end Supply Chain. My experience is a balanced mix of Supply Chain operations, Supply Chain planning and Supply Chain strategy and analytics roles. Currently, I am a senior Supply Chain analytics consultant (Data Science) with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), helping companies in BioPharma, Consumer goods and Medical Devices Industry leverage data to optimize their Supply Chains.
In my current role with BCG, I leverage analytics to help clients in the following industries formulate their mid-term and long term Supply Chain strategies:
• BioPharma
• Medical Devices
• Consumer goods
Prior to starting my stint in external consulting, I worked for 10 years in various manufacturing, warehousing and supply chain analytics roles :
• At America's largest wholesale distributor of grocery items (A USD 30 Billion company): Managed two supply chain strategy and planning teams, delivered cost savings of $20M + within a span of 2 years.
• For a leading publishing and distribution company, I established a National distribution optimization center in Louisville, KY that leveraged advanced analytics tools to optimize the distribution network catering to 8 million subscribers/demand nodes across US.
• Prior to that, while working at a leading work space solutions manufacturing company, I took various roles as a participant in their operations leadership development program: Warehouse zone leader, manufacturing line supervisor, transportation planner and supply chain process consultant.
I also have deep interest in applications of Internet of Things (IoT) in Supply Chain and transportation domain and have published several independent thought leadership papers in this domain. Several ideas from one of my white papers on application of IoT in transportation were incorporated in the e-Governance policy draft document of Government of India.
