Educating the Innovators of the Future

Stephanie grew up watching her mother start and develop the Ms. Lam Montessori School, where she has also worked for several summers.  Many members of her family have gone on to complete the AMI Montessori training, including herself. Stephanie has her AMI 3-6 Primary diploma from The Montessori Institute Northwest in Portland, OR, and her AMI 0-3 Assistant-to-Infancy diploma from The Montessori Institute in Denver, CO.

Stephanie's blog, Montessori On the Double, and her YouTube channel, documents her journey of raising her twins, Brooke and Mackenzie, the Montessori way. For the last three years, she has been working as a Montessori home consultant for parents with children between the ages of 0-3. Her book, Raising Your Twins - Real Life Tips On Parenting Your Children with Ease (Without Kicking Your Spouse to the Curb!), was published by Aviva Publishing in 2013.

Prior to Montessori and motherhood, Stephanie graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in History and was the owner of a greeting card company for 10 years. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking with her children, writing and meditating.
